Show House – Kinnegad

#Carpet, Laminate

Introduction

We were commissioned to work in conjunction with Moylough Developments and Interior Designer Irene Hoare. The project was for the show home of a 133-house estate, Chapel Park, located just a two-minute walk from the centre of Kinnegad. Irene had a clear vision for the house – a country style home with a practical and modern home feel.

The Process

We worked alongside Irene to choose the correct materials that best suit the vision.
We installed an AC6-rated laminate floor downstairs with an Embossed In Register feature, and a wider format to match the house's space and shape. This high-spec laminate gives the floor maximum scratch, impact, and wear resistance.
We installed sisal carpet on the stairs and landing to use natural fibres as much as possible. It also added some texture to the space.
We centred the carpet as a runner on the staircase.
We installed 100% wool loop pile carpets in the bedrooms in a contrasting colour, which also added a natural texture to the spaces.

The Results

Both the developer and Irene, the interior designer, were keen to partner with somebody who could offer a bespoke service using the very best materials and deliver a high-quality end result.

Both parties were highly delighted with the result and the finished show home accurately refects the vision they had for the property.

The high-quality flooring that was installed mirrors their aspirations, not just for the show home but for the quality of the development as a whole.
